THE SCARLET LETTER
Every year over 50 women die victim of domestic abuse in just one European country. The Scarlet Letter series is about abused women and the atmosphere they seem to inhabit.
Abuse, aggression, ablation. These are all scarlet letters.
There are 20 weavings 15-20 cms. each, woven in silk, dyed, discharged, stamped and with machine stitching on dyed cotton, commercial bandage.
